<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device that can suppress rotation failure of a charging member that occurs due to the friction between a shaft member of the charging member and a support member, an image forming unit, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A shaft member 78 includes a contact part 78A that is to be in contact with the inner peripheral surface 74A of a support member 72, and is subjected to low friction treatment to reduce the friction with the inner peripheral surface 74A. With this treatment, rotation failure (driven rotation failure) of a charging member 20 is suppressed, which occurs due to the friction between the shaft member 78 of the charging member 20 and the support member 72 compared with the case where the contact part 78A is not subjected to the low friction treatment.</p> |
