PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of further reducing luminance irregularities in characters and graphics and improving visibility without the need of complicated post-processing or the like, and a vehicle air conditioner using the same.SOLUTION: A display device 3 is constituted of a translucent member 4 transmitting light and a light shield member 5 shielding the light by bicolor molding, the translucent member 4 exposed to a display surface 7 by transmission light transmitted by the translucent member 4 emits light to display characters or graphics 2. The characters or graphics 2 include characters or graphics 2 surrounding a floating land part 10 formed of the light shield member 5 by a line by the translucent member 4, the floating land part 10 is formed integrally with the light shield member 5 via a bridge 11 provided at a position of shielding the light incident on the translucent member 4 from a light source 6, and a reflection surface 13 is provided on a translucent member 4-side surface 12 forming a boundary surface between the display surface 7-side translucent member 4 and the light shield member 5 at a position at which the bridge 11 is provided so that a light source is identical to the display surface 7 in reflection angle.
