PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having low-temperature fixability, heat-resistant storage property, filming resistance, and rubbing resistance.SOLUTION: The toner comprises a crystalline polyester and shows a ratio (Q1/Q2) of 0.5 or less, where Q1 (J/g) is an endothermic quantity of the crystalline polyester after the toner is subjected to a tacking test under the following conditions at a temperature where a storage modulus (G') of the toner is 5×10Pa, and is measured in the first temperature elevation period in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) of the toner; and Q2 (J/g) is an endothermic quantity of the crystalline polyester after the toner is subjected to the tacking test under the following conditions at a temperature where a storage modulus (G') of the toner is 1×10Pa, and is measured in the first temperature elevation period in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The tacking test is carried out by: adhering the toner to a recording sheet to obtain an adhesion amount of 0.85 mg/cm; and pressing a stainless steel probe having a 10-mm diameter to the toner adhering to the recording sheet under a load of 0.83 kg/cmfor a duration time of 35 msec. |
