The present invention relates to a high-voltage lithium-ion battery positive electrode material having a spinel structure and the preparation method thereof. The preparation steps are as follows: after preparing a mixed salt solution using a precipitating agent in the solution to prepare a precipitate precursor, then standing to age, separating, drying, calcining and obtaining multi-element oxide precursor having the spinel structure; then mixing, milling and calcining the multi-element oxide precursor and a lithium salt to obtain a positive electrode material having a spinel structure of LiMx+yNi0.5-xMn1.5-yO4, wherein M=Co, Cr, Fe, Ce, Al, Zn or Mg, 0≤x≤0.25, 0≤y≤0.25. The positive electrode material LiMx+yNi0.5-xMn1.5-yO4 prepared by the method has high purity and stable electrochemical performance. The process is simple and easy to operate, environmentally friendly, and suitable for large-scale industrial production applications. |
