A method of operating a computing device with a touch-sensitive display. The method includes displaying a first plurality of icons on a first page on the touch-sensitive display, entering a reconfiguration mode in response to detecting a contact on one of the first plurality of icons for greater than a predetermined time and moving at least one of the first plurality of icons from a location among the first plurality of icons to a location among a second plurality of icons on a second page. Also disclosed is an article a storage medium having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by a computing device with a touch sensitive display and a power system, result in the computing device being capable of performing the method and an apparatus including means for performing the method.
