<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect abnormality in a base, that is a ball output rate in a game state other than a big prize-winning state in general, at an early stage and to improve precision of the detection. <P>SOLUTION: This device includes: the number of supplied game mediums counting means 23 which counts the number of supplied game mediums from a game medium supply signal; determination interval setting means 25 which sets an interval in which a fixed number of game mediums over the regulation number, retroactively from the reaching time to the past, are supplied, as a determination interval; whenever the counted value of the number of supplied game mediums reaches the predetermined regulation number of supplied game mediums, and determination means 26 and 27 which execute processing of determining whether abnormality in the base occurs, from the number of put-out game mediums; and the number of supplied game mediums which are counted within the determination interval, as base abnormality determination processing.
