<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber connection tool that facilitates a work and enables reduction in costs.SOLUTION: An optical fiber connection tool 100 comprises: an optical fiber connection unit 10 that holds a mechanical splice 30 to which a first optical fiber is inserted; a connection tool 110 that has an optical fiber anchor part anchoring a second optical fiber to be butted with the first optical fiber within the mechanical splice 30. The connection tool 110 has a tool base part 130, and a pair of guide members 120. The optical fiber connection unit 10 has groove-like guide concavity parts 62b and 63b on both side surfaces of the optical fiber connection unit. The guide member 120 has an extension plate part 121 that extends from the tool base part 130, and an inward protrusion part 122 that protrudes inwards from a tip of the guide member. The inward protrusion part 122 enters the guide concavity parts 62b and 63b, and holds the optical fiber connection unit 10 in a movable state in a guide direction.</p> |
