An objective of the present invention is to provide a new cardiomyocyte sorting method. A further objective of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing high-purity cardiomyocytes, and a kit for said method.　The present invention achieves the above by providing a cardiomyocyte sorting method that includes a step in which miRNA-responsive mRNA is introduced into groups of cells, said miRNA-responsive mRNA comprising a sequence containing (i) a nucleic acid that is specifically recognized by miRNA specifically expressed in cardiomyocytes and (ii) a nucleic acid that corresponds to the coding region of a gene, wherein the nucleic acid sequence from (i) is used to control the translation of the nucleic acid from (ii), which corresponds to the coding region of a gene, into a protein.
