摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device which can further suitably perform a restart of fuel supply when a fuel cut is performed at the deceleration of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An engine control device (ECU) performs a fuel cut by stopping the synchronous injection of fuel which is synchronized with a rotation cycle of an engine 10 at the deceleration of a vehicle, and restarts the synchronous injection of the fuel by releasing the fuel cut when a rotation speed of the engine is lowered to a fuel recovery rotation speed during the execution of the fuel cut. The engine control device also acquires a lowering rate of the rotation speed of the engine 10 in the execution of the fuel cut, predicts a rotation angle position when reaching the fuel recovery rotation speed on the basis of the lowering rate of the rotation speed, and determines whether or not the fuel injection to the engine 10 should be executed non-synchronously on the basis of the predicted rotation angle position. When it is determined that the non-synchronous injection should be performed, the engine control device performs the non-synchronous injection prior to a restart of the synchronous injection.</p>
