The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for an eyesight recovery containing a Perilla frutescens extarct as an active ingredient and having an eye strain relieving effect. The Perilla frutescens composition in the present invention can be applied to a pharmaceutical composition which is useful in relieving eye strain and improving vision since the composition has excellent ameliorating effects on anomalies of refraction, a near point of convergence, a near point of accommodation, and an easiness of accommodation.
