1. A method of processing a web of laminate, the method comprising:
providing the web of laminate, wherein the laminate includes at least a layer of nonwoven material attached to a layer of film, and wherein the nonwoven material comprises a fibrous material; treating at least a portion of a surface of the fibrous material with a surface-modifying composition, to form a treated laminate; providing a machine part with a contact surface; contacting the contact surface of the machine part with the fibrous material; continuously transferring at least a portion of the surface-modifying agent from the surface of the layer of non-woven material to the contact surface of the machine part; coating at least a portion of the contact surface of the machine part with the surface-modifying composition; and incrementally stretching the treated laminate to form an incrementally stretched laminate. |
