BIDIRECTIONAL DC-DC CONVERTER, METHOD OF SOFT-SWITCHING THEREOF AND RECORDING MEDIUM FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD

A three-phase interleaved bidirectional DC-DC converter includes: three-phase three inverters which are connected between a source power to supply DC power, and an auxiliary power battery to perform an interleave pulse width modulation; a first switching unit which includes three switches which are serially connected to each inductor; a second switching unit which includes three switches connected between each inductor and a ground terminal from one contact of each switch of the first switching corresponding to each inductor; and three capacitors which are connected in parallel to each switch of the second switching unit and perform zero voltage switching. The soft switching method thereof includes the steps of: switching the first switching unit and turning off the second switching unit in a charging mode; and turning off the first switching unit and switching the second switching unit in a discharge mode. Therefore, the price competitiveness of the bidirectional DC-DC converter is secured and the soft switching method with improved efficiency and reliability is provided at the same time.
