<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and easy gyro-rate offset removing method and gyro-device that follow variation of a gyro-rate offset, have a simple configuration, also follow reversal of a gyro, and can remove a rate offset component that does not follow reversal of the gyro like auto-rotation of the earth.SOLUTION: A gyro-rate offset removing method uses positional relation between a gyro 1 and a measurement object surface 2 of which the position is guaranteed and a reference edge 5a of which the position relative to the measurement object surface 2 is guaranteed, periodically reverses the gyro 1 centering around a reversal axis 3c vertical to the measurement object surface 2, removes a gyro-rate offset following variation of the gyro-rate offset, and detects and removes a gyro-rate offset component applied regardless of reversal of the gyro 1 from the amount of time change in a differential value between gyro angle detection values before and after reversal of the gyro 1.</p> |
