A compressor (12) is provided with: a sealed container (20); a compressing element (30); and an electric element (40). A suction pipe (21) for drawing in a refrigerant that includes HFO-1123 and a discharge pipe (22) for discharging the refrigerant are attached to the sealed container (20). The compressing element (30) is accommodated inside the sealed container (20). The compressing element (30) compresses the refrigerant that is drawn into the suction pipe (21). The electric element (40) is installed inside the sealed container (20) at a location through which the refrigerant flows after having been compressed in the compressing element (30) and prior to being discharged from the discharge pipe (22). The electric element (40) drives the compressing element (30). The electric element (40) is a concentrated winding motor.
