PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange type cooling apparatus for a transformer, capable of being fabricated at a light weight and a small size, high in energy efficiency and durability to noise and vibration, and excellent in cooling performance.SOLUTION: A heat exchange type cooling apparatus 100 for a transformer includes: an insulation oil circulating pipe 110 configured in the form of a closed circuit so that insulation oil filled at the inside of a transformer 101 is taken to the outside and then it returns again to the transformer; an insulation oil pump 120 designed to transfer the insulation oil; and an insulation oil cooling system 140 designed to cool the insulation oil. The insulation oil cooling system includes: a liquid refrigerant maintained in a liquid state throughout the circulation cycle; a refrigerant circulating pipe 150 designed to circulate the liquid refrigerant; a refrigerant pump 160 designed to transfer the liquid refrigerant; and a heat exchange part 170 for cooling the insulation oil through heat exchange between the liquid refrigerant and the insulation oil. |
