<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scribe device for regulating the extent of intrusion of a scribing wheel into a brittle material substrate, up to a predetermined value at the scribing time of the brittle material substrate.SOLUTION: A stopper 33 is protruded to the top face of a bottom plate 24. There is provided an air cylinder 34 for adjusting the extent of protrusion of the stopper 33 from the bottom plate 24. Even if a slider 28 descends, this descent is regulated by the top face of the stopper 33. At the scribing time, therefore, it is possible to regulate the extent of intrusion of the scribing wheel into the brittle material substrate.</p> |
