PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle motor compressor in which interference of a racing crochet needle and a caulking portion can be avoided surely, while ensuring tight binding of the coil end by means of a string.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle motor compressor includes a stator core 45, distributed windings 54 of a plurality of phases having a coil end 55, and a string 65 for binding the coil end tightly. A tooth space 66 is formed between the coil end 55 and the stator core 45 for each tooth, and the stator core 45 includes a plurality of caulking portions 50. The plurality of caulking portions 50 are formed in the circumferential direction, while keeping regular intervals. The string 65 is not inserted into the tooth space 66, on the outer peripheral side of which, the caulking portions 50 are arranged. The string 65 is inserted, respectively, into the tooth spaces 66 located on the opposite sides of the tooth space 66, on the outer peripheral side of which, the caulking portions 50 are arranged. The coil end 55 is bound tightly by means of the string 65 so that the tooth spaces 66, into which the string 65 is not inserted, are not continuous in the circumferential direction. |
