ANTISTATIC AGENT AND APPLICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic agent from which an antistatic layer having a whitening inhibition function and an antistatic function can be formed on a resin film, and an application method of the antistatic agent.SOLUTION: The antistatic agent comprises a polymer incorporated into a solvent; and the polymer comprises an antistatic polymer (A) containing an ammonium salt group and an application property improving polymer (B) that is a cationic polyvinyl alcohol containing a hydroxyl group and an ammonium salt group. By applying the antistatic agent on at least one major surface of a resin film, an antistatic layer having a whitening inhibition function and an antistatic function can be formed.
