A light 11 for an aircraft passenger cabin comprises an elongate casing 15 housing a light source 17. The casing has an elongate base 33and an elongate cover 35 secured together along both sides of the casing by co-operating formations 37,39 on the base and cover. The light source 17 may comprise a plurality of LEDs. The cover may be transparent or translucent. The base is preferably opaque and may be made from metal, plastic or composite. |
