The present invention relates to an engine room cooling system comprising: an encapsulation for covering a vehicle engine having an intake manifold; a main duct to connect side grills in the front and lateral sides of a vehicle; an encapsulation intake duct branched from the main duct and provided toward the intake manifold inside the encapsulation; an intake duct valve provided around the encapsulation intake duct to selectively open or close the main duct or the encapsulation intake duct; a humidity sensor provided inside the main duct to output a signal corresponding to the measured humidity of air flowing in; a temperature sensor for measuring the temperature inside the encapsulation to output a signal corresponding to the temperature measurement; a speed sensor to measure the speed of the vehicle to output a signal corresponding to the speed measurement; and a control part to control the opening and closing of the intake duct valve based on the signals outputted from the humidity, temperature, and speed sensors.
