Provided is an in-wheel motor system with which an in-wheel motor can be driven stably even when misalignment between a transmitting and a receiving coil occurs, and with which electricity can be supplied from a road surface. This in-wheel motor system (1) is equipped with a power transmission unit (100) that utilizes a resonance phenomenon using a magnetic field, with the power transmission unit (100) wirelessly transmitting electrical power (P) from the vehicle body to in-wheel motors (10) embedded in the vehicle wheels. Furthermore, this system can be equipped with a communication unit (110) that enables communication between the vehicle body and the vehicle wheels, with the communication unit (110) communicating a control signal (CTL) for driving the in-wheel motors. |
