<p>The present invention relates to a polyester resin having excellent surface-active and light-shielding properties, and a method for preparing the same. The polyester resin having excellent surface-active and light-shielding properties is obtained by polycondensation of terephthalic acid or an ester forming derivative of the terephthalic acid and a diol ingredient including ethyleneglycol, under the existence of a catalyst and a thermal stabilizer. The polyester resin, with respect to the whole acidic content of polyester, contains 3,000-30,000 ppm of a compound selected from the group consisting of manganese acetate, calcium acetate, magnesium acetate, calcium stearate or magnesium stearate, and a polyorgano silsesquioxane particle, based on the weight of polyester resin; and satisfies the following conditions: (1) UV transmittance <= 3%; and (2) light transmittance <= 8%. The polyester resin having excellent surface-active and light-shielding properties as described above maintains moving quality by increasing the surface activity of a film while providing excellent light-shielding properties, by being manufactured with a specific compound and fine particle through polycondensation.</p> |
