Disclosed are a method for processing a call by a mobile communication base station device under a radio admission control failure condition and a base station device therefor. The base station device of the present invention can accept an RRC connection and provide limited resources by applying a visitor mode even under the condition that it is impossible to perform radio admission control for a call, for which an RRC connection is newly requested, using a typical method. Further, the base station device can perform a handover for the corresponding call when a handover condition for the corresponding call is satisfied during the visitor mode, and can provide redirection information while releasing the corresponding RRC connection when a handover is not triggered within a predetermined period of time or the corresponding call is determined to be a data service call. In this way, the base station device can improve the quality of service (QoS) for a voice call or video call of a user, from whom a new connection is requested, without separately ensuring reserved resources while minimizing the effect on the QoS for existing users. |
