1. An adjustment apparatus, for providing adjustment of position and/or orientation of a piece of furniture relative to a surface near or against which said piece of furniture is to be placed, wherein the apparatus comprises:
a first member, capable of being rotated; and a second member, capable of longitudinal movement, wherein the first and second members are each mountable in said furniture and so guidable in their movement, the first member acts upon the second member to provide longitudinal movement thereof and the second member is arranged to act upon said surface which, in use, is capable of providing adjustment of position and/or orientation of said piece of furniture with respect to said surface. |
