<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor for design of control in an apparatus in which a cutter unit is integrated, the cutter unit being of a type to be embedded in other printing apparatuses, while to appropriately secure the quality of operations thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The cutter unit includes: a cutter blade 120; a switch 130 (position sensor) that detects whether the cutter blade 120 is at a reference position P0; a motor 140 that drives the cutter blade 120, a driver IC 150 (driver circuit) of the motor 140; and a control part IC160 (cutter control means) that controls the driver IC 150 based on the detection result of the switch 130 so that the cutter blade 120 is operated to conform to the operation instruction (for either full-cutting or partial-cutting) received from the printing apparatus 200 in which the cutter unit is integrated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
