<p>The microwave oven (10) comprises susceptor (14) which is arranged in beam path between a microwave source and the component. The susceptor consists of highly pure silicon carbide in hexagonal, rhombohedral or cubic crystal structure having 2H, 4H, 6H-3C or crystal structure.
