<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium cassette in which a butted state of an edge guide against the edge of a paper sheet housed in an upper slide tray (paper sheet housing space) can be adjusted easily. <P>SOLUTION: The recording medium cassette includes: the upper slide tray 57 configured removably from a recording device 1, which performs recording on the paper sheet P (recording medium), and having the paper sheet housing space S for housing the paper sheet P; an upper outside cover 55 which is arranged for covering the paper sheet housing space S of the upper slide tray 57 and used for opening and closing the paper sheet housing space S; and the edge guide 58 which is arranged to be slid freely on the upper outside cover 55 and is brought into contact with at least one edge of the paper sheet P housed in the paper sheet housing space S to guide the paper sheet P when a housing part is blocked.
