<p>The present invention relates to a method for producing an Arthrospira platensis mutant having high productivity of lipid and polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) and, particularly, to a method for producing an Arthrospira platensis mutant, wherein, compared to a wild-type Arthrospira platensis NIES39 strain, production amount of lipid and microalgae with improved productivity of lipid, productivity of total fatty acid, and productivity of PUFA, production amount of total fatty acid, and amount of PUFA are increased. The mutant of the present invention, compared to conventional wild-type microalgae, has excellent productivity of lipid, productivity of total fatty acid, and productivity of PUFA, so as to be used as an industrially useful high value-added ingredient and improve productivity of biodiesel, so economical value is very high, thereby having remarkable industrial meaning.</p> |
