An image processing apparatus includes the following elements. A hue replacement unit replaces image information concerning the specified region so that hue values represented by the image information will become substantially uniform if the specified region is an image exhibiting saturation lower than a predetermined saturation. The image processor performs image processing on the specified region on the basis of the image information replaced by the hue replacement unit. |
