An inspection device (1) is provided with: an inspection stand (2) whereupon is placed an inspection target (T) comprising a collection of a plurality of solid medicines (O); an excitation unit (3) that excites the inspection stand (2); an imaging unit (4) that acquires an image of the inspection target (T) placed on the inspection stand (2) in a first direction parallel to the inspection stand (2); and a control unit (5) that determines, on the basis of inspection target information that includes external appearance information for the medicines that constitute the inspection target (T) and the first direction image of the inspection target (T), the presence or absence of an overlap among the solid medicines (O) of the inspection target (T), and activates the excitation unit (3) if it is determined that there is an overlap among the solid medicines (O). |
