PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detector allowing the alignment of a part to be detected and a detection body without requiring a plurality of types of spacers or pedestals.SOLUTION: The rotation angle detector includes: a rotor that has a part to be detected on its outer periphery and is rotatable about a rotation axis; a detection body disposed on the radial outside so as to face the part to be detected; and a pedestal having a mounting surface on which the detection body is mounted and which extends around the rotation axis. The pedestal is formed so that the distance between the mounting surface in the direction parallel with the rotation axis and the part to be detected varies along the circumferential direction of the pedestal. |
