The present invention relates to a novel biomarker for diagnosing eating disorders and a use thereof and, more specifically, to a use as a diagnostic marker for anorexia nervosa (AN) which uses characteristics based on methylation pattern of a specific area of a promoter of an oxytocin receptor (OXTR) gene.
