<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece in which setting contents in a second display state, caused by erroneous rotation, can be confirmed even if a winding knob that is a rotary switch is erroneously wound during an operation for shifting from the second display state to a first display state by the rotary switch. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic timepiece comprises: a winding knob; a detection section which detects positional information and rotation information of the winding knob; display control means (S3) in which a winding knob returning state is defined as a first display state for displaying the time on a display section and a winding knob pulling state is defined as a second display state for displaying a state of any other function than time display on the display section; setting change control means (S10-S12) in which valid/invalid settings of functions are changed and a state after the setting changes is displayed through a winding operation of the winding knob under the second display state; and display state holding means (S1, S2) in which the second display state is shifted to the first display state after holding the display of the second display state for a predetermined period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
