An information processing device includes: a display and input unit (5) that displays characters; an operation unit (8) that designates the size of characters to be displayed on the display and input unit (5); and a control unit (2) that causes the display and input unit (5) to display the characters in a display object document in a manner such that, when the character size designated by the operation unit (8) is smaller than a predetermined size, characters in a character string that falls under a predefined rule are displayed in the predetermined size and the other characters are displayed in the size designated by a character size designation unit.
