The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for wound healing, a quasi-drug composition, and a health functional food composition, the compositions comprising a massa medicata fermentata extract as an active ingredient, and a method for wound healing comprising a step of administering the compositions to an individual or applying the compositions onto the skin of the individual. The compositions comprising a massa medicate fermentata extract of the present invention induce proliferation of keratinocytes, thereby exhibiting excellent wound healing efficacy, and thus can be usefully used in medicines for wound healing, including external skin preparations.
