Disclosed are an electronic cigarette and a method for assembling the electronic cigarette, the electronic cigarette comprising an electronic cigarette body, wherein the electronic cigarette body is provided with a smoking end (5), an oil storage device (2) for storing a cigarette oil, an atomization assembly (3) for atomizing the cigarette oil, and a battery assembly (4) electrically connected to the atomization assembly (3) and used for supplying power for the atomization assembly (3); the battery assembly (4) and the oil storage device (2) are arranged in parallel; the atomization assembly (3) comprises a heating wire assembly (31), the heating wire assembly (31) being located at the outer side of the end of the oil storage device (2) adjacent to the smoking end (5); and a smog channel, which is arranged outside the oil storage device (2) and used for discharging the smog atomized by the atomization assembly (3) out of the electronic cigarette body, is formed inside the electronic cigarette body. The electronic cigarette can prevent the cigarette oil from penetrating into the smog channel. |
