A disclosed display panel comprises a substrate, multiple gate lines, a color filter, and a roof layer. The substrate includes a thin film transistor arranged. The gate lines are extended in a first direction on the substrate, and are connected to the thin film transistor. The color filter is arranged on the substrate. The roof layer defines a tunnel-shaped cavity extended in a second direction crossing the first direction between the color filter, arranged on the color filter, and having the height of a part adjacent to the gate lines lower than the height of a part between the gate lines. The roof layer arranged on the color filter of the display panel is adjacent to the gate lines and has low thickness, thereby improving process margin, when injecting an orientation solution and liquid crystals.
