A synchronization signal acquisition unit (311) acquires a synchronization signal (Ssync) output by the projector (11). A synchronization signal adjusting unit (312) calculates the periodic difference and phase difference between the synchronization signal (Ssync) acquired by the synchronization signal acquisition unit (311) and a common control signal (Scom) generated by a common control signal generating unit (313). Furthermore, on the basis of the periodic difference and phase difference calculated by the synchronization signal adjusting unit (312), an adjustment waveform (Tcom (n+1)) with a length of synchronization (Tsync) or greater for the synchronization signal (Ssync) is generated, and by inserting the adjustment waveform into the common control signal (Scom), the synchronization signal (Ssync) and common control signal (Scom) period and phase are aligned. |
