The present invention concerns the field of drug manufacture and formulation. In particular, it relates to a method for the manufacture of drug-impregnated globules comprising the steps of providing globules to be impregnated in a rotatable vessel, rotating said vessel such that the globules move, spraying a impregnation composition comprising the drug for a time and under conditions which are sufficient to allow for a homogenous impregnation of the globules with the impregnation composition comprising the drug, spraying a washing solution to the globules for a time and under conditions which are sufficient to equilibrate the impregnation composition, and drying impregnation composition on the globules such that a homogenous impregnation is formed. |
