<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a composite composition of a silicone resin and an inorganic oxide particle by successfully compounding the silicone resin and the inorganic oxide particle, wherein the composite composition does not generate phase separation, a pore, and a crack and has excellent optical characteristics, mechanical characteristics, and thermal stability. <P>SOLUTION: After imparting dispersibility of an inorganic oxide particle in a hydrophobic solvent to the inorganic oxide particle by preliminarily bonding a specific dispersant to the surface of the inorganic oxide particle, the inorganic oxide particle is dispersed in the hydrophobic solvent. The specific dispersant preliminarily bonded to the surface of the inorganic oxide particle is replaced with a surface modifier comprising a polymer with a polydimethylsiloxane skeleton which includes one functional group at one terminal, in the hydrophobic solvent, so that this one functional group of the surface modifier comprising the polymer with the polydimethylsiloxane skeleton which includes one functional group at one terminal is bonded to the surface of the inorganic oxide particle. Then the surface-modified inorganic oxide particle obtained by bonding of the polymer with the polydimethylsiloxane skeleton which includes one functional group at one terminal and the silicone resin are compounded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
