<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform, even in a case where overlap feed is detected, a print job detected that it has been involved in the overlap feed, by efficiently using sheets of recording paper stored in a paper storage part. <P>SOLUTION: In an apparatus body 2 and a feeder 3, if an overlap feed sensor 3015 detects overlap feed of sheets of recording paper under conveyance when control is exerted such that an image to be formed is managed for each sheet of recording paper by use of a feed ID (YES in S15), an ID alternation section 322 is used such that a feed ID of the sheet of recording paper to be conveyed following the sheet of recording paper detected that it has been involved in the overlap feed is altered to a feed ID of the sheet of recording paper detected that it has been involved in the overlap feed. The feed ID of each of sheets of recording paper to be conveyed following this sheet of paper is decreased in order so as to follow the feed ID of the sheet of recording paper detected that it has been involved in the overlap feed (S20).
