<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost more than before while suppressing the generation of a printing kink at a liquid discharge head. <P>SOLUTION: In a nozzle unit 10, individual liquid chambers A for nozzles are formed on a nozzle base board 3 on which the nozzles 3a are aligned by laminating a passage plate 1 and a diaphragm 2, ends of the passage plate and the diaphragm are made shorter than that of the nozzle base board, and inlet openings 3b of the individual liquid chambers are formed at face positions at sides of the ends. A common liquid chamber B communicating with the individual liquid chambers A is formed of a frame member 20 composed of a resin member, an extension part 25 formed of a metal member is formed at an end-side portion 23 of nozzle-unit side opposing faces of the frame member, the extension part is joined to the nozzle base board, and the inside portion 24 of the nozzle unit side opposing faces is joined to the diaphragm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
