<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improved in operation stability while retaining limit gripping property.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes in the tread of a tire: a spiral belt layer made by coating with rubber a plurality of cords arrayed in parallel to each other and extending in a tread circumferential direction; a belt protecting layer positioned in the outer side in the tire diameter direction than the spiral belt layer, and made by coating with rubber a plurality of cords arrayed in parallel to each other and extending in the tread width direction; and tread rubber positioned in the outer side in the tire diameter direction of the belt protecting layer. A thickness Dbb of the tread rubber positioned between tread width direction both outermost ends of the belt protecting layer is larger, compared to a thickness Deb of the tread rubber positioned between a tread ground contact end and the tread width direction outermost end of the belt protecting layer.</p> |
