<p>The present invention relates to a computer which performs a universal serial bus (USB) to Serial communication with a monitor, wherein the computer includes: an external device interface unit having a connection port for the USB to serial communication; a communication unit performing the USB to Serial communication connection with a monitor; a storage unit which stores monitor setting data; and a controller which controls the operation of the computer. The controller transmits, to the monitor, table format information of the monitor setting data by using the USB to Serial communication, transmits table length information of the monitor setting data, transmits the monitor setting data, and transmits checksum data of the monitor setting data.</p> |
