The method includes an input image analyzing step, a haze estimating step, a transmission quantity generating step, a transmission quantity correcting step, and a hazed image storing step. The device includes an input image analyzing unit, a haze estimating unit, a transmission quantity generating unit, a transmission quantity changing unit, and a hazed image storing unit.
