<p>Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for removing noise whereby noise can be estimated even when noise and target sound are continuously provided by a communication device, including two microphones, at the same time, and loss of the target sound can be minimized even when a main microphone is placed apart from a mouth. According to the present invention, a coefficient of an adaption filter and a variable of a remaining noise removal unit are updated by using a convergence variable calculated based on: a normalized power ratio between power of each frequency element of a signal, input through the first microphone, and power of each frequency element of a signal, input through the second microphone; an average of the normalized power ratio; and a change amount of power of each frequency element of a signal input through the first microphone.</p> |
