<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a data write in a precharge-less period.SOLUTION: An electro-optic device according to the present invention includes: a plurality of pixels; a scanning line drive circuit for selecting one scanning line among a plurality of scanning lines sequentially for each unit period; a plurality of switches for sequentially selecting one data line from k data lines in a unit period, the unit period including k write periods for writing to the k data lines separately in time; and a data signal generation circuit for supplying a precharge potential to the k data lines before the k write periods in a first unit period, and stopping the supply of the precharge potential to the k data lines in a second unit period following the first unit period. The scanning line drive circuit selects a first scanning line in the first unit period, and selects, in addition to the first scanning line, a second scanning line following the first scanning line in at least part of the first unit period, and then selects the second scanning line in the second unit period.</p> |
