PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector selection instruction device which prevents a connector from being wrongly connected and which is flexibly adaptable to diversification of a communication standard.SOLUTION: A connector selection instruction device comprises: a port 11 which is electrically connectable to a connector 22 in a detachable manner; a signal measurement unit 12 which measures information on a signal of a predetermined terminal 23 in the connector from the port; a storage unit 13 which stores information on a signal and information on another port 31 of another electronic apparatus 30 in association with each other; an information processing unit 14 which confirms whether information on a signal measured by the signal measurement unit exists in information on a signal stored in the storage unit and, when it exists, extracts information on the other port of the other electronic apparatus corresponding to the confirmed information on the signal from the storage unit; and an output unit 15 which outputs the information on the other port of the other electronic apparatus extracted by the information processing unit. |
