PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply switching circuit capable of extending the time for backup operation when the power for electrical equipment is shut down while reducing rush current to the electrical equipment when the power is supplied to the electrical equipment.SOLUTION: The power supply switching circuit includes: a switching element; a CR circuit; a Zener diode; and control means. The switching element is connected between a power source and a load which is driven by the power source in series. The CR circuit connects the source and the gate of the switching element thereacross. The Zener diode connects the CR circuit across the source and the gate in parallel. The control means sets the gate of the switching element as an open node based on an instruction relevant to the voltage from the power source.
