<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet type image formation device which can suppress feathering, bleeding and curl even in a case in which plain paper is used as a recording medium and obtain a high quality image.SOLUTION: An image formation device 100 comprises: an intermediate transfer body 103; a process liquid application unit 102 which applies to the intermediate transfer body 103 a process liquid obtained by emulsifying an aqueous solvent having a thermoresponsive material whose compatibility with water varies with thermal stimulation and a low-polarity solvent incompatible with the aqueous solvent as a W/O emulsion in which the aqueous solvent becomes a dispersion phase and the low-polarity solvent becomes a continuous phase with a first surfactant; recording heads 101a, 101b, 101c, 101d as image formation means which forms an image on the intermediate transfer body 103 by discharging an aqueous recording liquid in accordance with an image signal; a temperature adjustment device 105 which adjusts the surface temperature of the intermediate transfer body 103; and a transfer body 104 which transfers the image formed on the intermediate transfer body 103 to a recording medium 107.</p> |
